Human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) is virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS). It will destroy immune system in human body.The four transmission routes of HIV is unsafe sex, transmited from blood to blood, sharng injection equipment that has someone who is infected, and transmission from infected mother to her baby since the baby was born. Each year AIDS kills infected people more than 2-3 milion.In 24 September 2009, The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative(IAVI) announced AIDS vaccine had shown effective result to prevent from infected HIV. It was analzed by the U.S. Military HIV Research Program and Thai Ministry of Public Health.It was trial with 144 volunteers in Thailand that the result can prevent about 31 percent from infected HIV. IAVI was very satisfied with that result. As soon as, I think they will analyze HIV vaccine to prevent about 100 percent from infected HIV. AIDS vaccine have very useful to people in the world. As for me, The best method in prevention HIV should take care yourself and should not have behavior to be risk groups.
